| I was a good friend of Michael Stone's for a number of years from 1998 - 2007. I've lost contact with him however. I've recently published a novel in which he features. I'm sure he'd like to read it as would his sister. If you could put me in touch with his sister Barbara, I'll send her a copy |

| Eddie west is guilty, he had motive, access to a hammer as he's a farrier, he exposed himself to the family a few days before, he is a known pervert, he had good knowledge of the area, he was pulled in for questioning but his parents gave him an aliby! I saw him hours after the murders, he was shaken, very aggressive and was searching his van for his hammer! |

| What did they actually nick Michael stone on because I really have never understood how such a flimsy case gets someone jailed? I was not in court so unless something compelling came up that wasn't publicised then I don't know but as soon as Bellfields name came up, well what can I say? |

| Innocent or guilty - this trail was a farse! Confession from a prisoner who is a known liar! The blood on the T-shirt is common with IV drug users. Burning his clothes troubles me yes...but the evidnce still bothers me tremenously! No DNA evidence - seriously? Sounds like they got the wrong man to me. A series of very unfortuanate coincidences came together to trap Stone in soemthing he maybe didn't do. I mean no disrespect to the victims - they would want the real killer in jail. If Stone is guilty fine - but this isn't exactly compelling evidence in my opinion. |

| Pity you couldn't find a few guys to say they overheard the prosecution witnesses say they were helping fit you up for cash. If I ever get busted again I'll find a few known liars to say they overheard me protesting my innocence or better still that the police said that they would fit me up like stone. | A Mother is with her 2 children walking ,a man attempts to rob her ,any Mother would immediately hand her possesions over there would not be need for tieing them up or attacking them ,and why would someone bent on robbery be hiding down a secluded country lane anyway ,complete with towels and boot laces to tie someone up ? was Mr stones dna on the towells or bottlaces ? does Mr stone have any previous regarding assaults on women and children ,the more I read this case the more incredulous it seems .. The motive in this case can not be Robbery I.M.O Why if u were going to rob someone would you even think about attacking a group of 3 people and then tieing them up ,you would steal the ladies bag and run I.M.O and you would not be looking for a victim on a remote country lane .. I believe the Russells were targeted by someone who knew they took that route ,im unsure of the motive but it was not Robbery I.M.O a very very sad case .... |
